Nick Nowacki, PE, LEED AP

President

reengineered is owned and operated by Mr. Nicholas R. Nowacki, PE, LEED AP. Nick is a licensed civil engineer with specialty experience in the design, engineering, and project management of aquatic facilities. He has provided project management and design services for hundreds of aquatic projects throughout the U.S., ranging from single hotel pools to complex municipal aquatic facilities. He is a registered professional engineer in 25 states (and counting). His reputation within the industry and experience in aquatic design is exceptional. He is results-driven, enthusiastic, personable engineer. His personality and commitment to the client help ensure customer satisfaction. In addition, his thoroughness and attention to detail make certain that the quality of work provided by reengineered is superior.

Del Wingerter, CPO

Project Manager

Introducing Del Wingerter, a dynamic and accomplished Project Manager with a passion for excellence in construction. With an impressive tenure that dates back to 2012, Del has been an integral part of the reengineered, inc. team, bringing his expertise and dedication to every project he takes on. Del’s journey in construction began at Minneapolis Drafting School, where he honed his skills and obtained a degree in Architectural Drafting in 1998. As his career evolved, he ventured into the field as a Job Superintendent in 2007, embracing new challenges with unwavering enthusiasm. Del’s experience spans a wide spectrum, from commercial framing to overseeing projects of up to $5 million as the Construction Superintendent.

After joining reengineered, inc. in 2012, Del swiftly became a key part of the team. As a Project Manager, he has successfully led aquatic projects ranging from $120K to $2.2M, earning the trust of clients and colleagues alike. Del’s meticulous approach and dedication to excellence and detail make each venture a resounding success.

With Del at the helm, clients can rest assured that their projects are in the hands of a seasoned professional who goes above and beyond to turn visions into reality. His passion for construction, coupled with his ability to navigate complex challenges, makes him an invaluable asset to any endeavor.

Jeff Huber

Project Engineer

Meet Jeff Huber, PE, the expert behind numerous captivating aquatic centers and swimming pool designs. With a passion for engineering and aquatics, Jeff’s journey began in 2008 when he first started drawing pools. After diverse experiences in engineering, he returned to his true calling in 2016.

His extensive education includes a BS and MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah with a heavy focus on Water Resources, as well as degrees/diplomas in Architectural Drafting & Estimating and Carpentry. He also holds a PE license in 16 states. Jeff’s expertise extends to Revit 3D modeling as well, and he is dedicated to staying updated on the latest trends through attendance of various industry conferences and events.

Jeff’s infectious enthusiasm for his work is evident in his own words: “I absolutely love seeing projects move from conception to an actual completed project and respect the amount of critical thinking and teamwork/coordination/collaboration it takes by so many people from design through regulation to construction and completion.” He finds joy in designing pools that cater to people of all ages and abilities, making exercise, competition, relaxation, and fun accessible to everyone.

Beyond his professional life, Jeff enjoys family time, traveling, mountain biking, woodworking, and diving into numerous home improvement projects.

With a keen eye for design and an unwavering commitment to his craft, Jeff continues to create aquatic spaces that bring delight and leisure to countless people.

Kara Nelson

Project Designer

Kara Nelson’s journey as a professional began with a strong academic foundation. Her education in Architectural and Mechanical Drafting & Design, as well as Business Technology Management equipped her with a versatile skill set, making her a well-rounded individual in the A&E industry.

In 2005, Kara dove into the aquatics industry, and over the course of the next seven years, she dedicated herself to a wide range of aquatic projects, from small community pools to large-scale international water parks, honing her talents in 2D and 3D drafting/design, pool filtration system and piping design, and showcased exemplary project management abilities.

Seeking new challenges and insights, Kara transitioned her expertise to collaborate with structural engineers for the next decade. This shift proved to be an invaluable opportunity for her to explore different aspects of engineering and expand her knowledge even further.

Yet, her heart never strayed far from her true passion – the aquatics industry. In 2022, Kara followed her heart and made her return to the world of aquatic design. Shortly after, she joined the esteemed group at reengineered, where she is surrounded by like-minded individuals who share her passion for bringing exceptional design and engineering solutions to each project, while creating memorable and inspiring aquatic spaces for clients and communities to enjoy for generations to come. With her accumulated knowledge, experience, and determination, Kara eagerly takes on projects of all sizes and shapes, while also acting as BIM manager.

When not in the deep end of design and engineering, Kara finds joy in various hobbies. She loves traveling, snorkeling, and spending time with her dogs. Gardening and home improvement projects are her creative outlets.
